He took her off her high blood pressure prescription (which she took three times a day). She remains on one smaller dose until next week.
He thought her incision looks terrific. As a side note to God's continual goodness to our family, her incision is between four and five inches long--just long enough to get an almost nine pound baby out. The doctor who handled Jonelle's surgery happens to be the best at small incisions, and is able to do the surgery without removing any organs (as I guess some of the doctors do).
When the staff checked her blood levels, she is slightly below normal. We count that amazing, considering she lost more than 1.5 liters a little over a week ago.
Jonelle looks terrific, is gaining strength and stamina daily, and moves more freely every day.
And, Natalya Mae continues to grow strong and alert.
The nurse in the hospital mentioned that she was looking up at the hospital staff when they pulled her out of Jonelle. She continues to look us all in the face, and we're convinced she's almost smiling.
If you prayed on her behalf, thanks so much. Our God acts. Glory to His Name!
