Unexpected Meetings

Recently, I unexpectedly, totally out-of-the-blue, met a cousin I didn't know. For that story see John's blog post about it.

As I think about that unlikely occurrence (it's not every day one gets to add to one's family), I believe such meetings of old friends and family in unexpected times is a foretaste of heaven. When we meet people we have a connection to, I think it reminds us of the friendship and family times we will enjoy when we get to heaven.

Isn't it surprising the links and ties we have here on earth? Won't we have more in heaven?
