I seek to encourage homeschooling families, and I think this format might enable me to do so more easily.
I also look forward to sharing a more personal side of me--stories of my children, photos of my grandchildren, things I'm thinking about, and more.
I hope to make new friends here, so please, introduce yourself... I hope to see you here often.

Welcome to the World of Bloggers, Sarita! I myself have only been blogging a few months.
I am Marcia and my husband and I are homeschooling our three sons (ages 9, 6, and 4). This fall, we will begin our fifth year using Sonlight and it has truly been an amazing blessing in our lives. Thank you to you and John for building such a wonderful company that touches so many lives. I truly did not know how much I love to read until I began reading all of these wonderful books to my boys.
I appreciate your desire to encourage those of us in the midst of this amazing journey! Thank you!
Blessings,
Marcia

Hi Sarita! I am not a blogger, and most likely never will be. But I just thought I'd say welcome to your little Natalya and also send kudos your direction for your support of reading the old-fashioned way -- from a book! Sigh. I sometimes get so tired of technology ...
My girls and I have enjoyed Sonlight for many years. My oldest is off to college this fall and my one remaining at home looks forward to beginning high school with Core 200. Thank you for making it possible.
Enjoy your new adventure in the world of blogging!
Karen
Hello! I'm one of many happy Sonlight users (my 4 children are happy too!) and I wanted to thank you for that. I'll be stopping by often!
Sarah
Hello, Sarita. My name is Jennifer. I am a Children's Pastor's wife and we live in California. I homeschool our four children (ages 7, 9, 11, 13) using Sonlight. I don't have a blog of my own, due to time constraints, but will stop by your blog often. I too had an emergency C-Section for my first baby, a girl. God took care of us both. He is so good!
Hi Sarita
Congratulations - you're a rich woman to have 5 grandchildren; I'm so happy for you! I've just finished having supper with my Dad, the grandfather of my 4 little ones - what a privilege it is for me to be able to enjoy him as a friend-father, and joy to my kids. Enjoy yours :0)
I've got 3 girls (8, 5, 2) and a little boy (1), who joined us via adoption 3 months ago. We love our homeschooling journey! As confirmed bibliovores, homeschooling is everything to do with a good book, a sunbeam to curl up in, and a few good cuddles thrown in!
Looking forward to "getting to know you" on this blog. Meanwhile - God's blessings to you and yours.
x
